We have two Tom Tom's and a Navman and have never experienced a single problem with screen holders; in fact I have never had one fall off ever. I keep the screen clean and never moisten the suction cup.

I've only recently purchased a Tomtom, having gotten some work that takes me all over the country. The Tomtom I have, the cheapest model, has so far been invaluable and already justified its purchase. Now that the device has proved itself I feel defensive towards it and decided to buy it some protection! I looked at a number of cases that would protect my Tomtom and eventually plumped for this one as it had good reviews, its price was good, and the p&p wasn't half the product's cost :-) The delivery time was silly. I ordered the case on the Sunday 28th Sept 2008, Amazon gave me an estimated delivery of Thursday 2nd Oct at the earliest.. but in fact the product arrived on Tuesday 30th September. I purchased this item from Terrabok on the amazon marketplace as I realised that they do not charge for postage and packaging. The mains charger itself is only very small (no wires,only the plug) and requires a USB cable to plug into the TomTom. Thats all there is really to it. There is also a small LED diode on the charger to tell you that the satnav is charging. Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase as charging the satnav via the computer take a very long time. I only wish TomTom would supply buyers of its products with a mains charger. Well done Terrabok!

Although this charger is stated as being for TomTom ONE it is also compatible with TomTom GO X20s and X30s (my GO 730 is charging with it as I type this). As I travel a lot the worldwide changeable plug adaptors are a real boon and am surprised other manufacturers of rechargeable electronic gizmos haven't cottoned on to the idea. The USB cable is really unnecessarily heft making it slightly awkward to fold it up hence the 4 stars.

Fit's TomTom ONE v3 perfecly - unlike the Amazon description. The TomTom website also lists v3 and others as "compatible". Does as it is described, but could be better 'feel' of quality, especially at £18 (18% of the TomTom itself!)

This cable is not suitable for use in all vehicles. It works well in my Ford Fiesta where the power socket is part of the instrument panel but in my Ford Mondeo the power socket is rear of the gear stick. With the cable plugged in and the Tom Tom stuck to the windscreen, the cable just about stretches enough but both connectors are under considerable tension and the cable interfers with the gear stick.

The case is perfect for the TomTom v3 - the colour is stunning and it looks very sleek. Also, delivery was excellent - I ordered the case in the morning and it arrived in the evening on the same day!!!

I bought this unit in January 2008, and have used it about six times "for real". Now, it has developed a loose or broken wire, so it no longer works. I'm awaiting TomTom's response on a warranty replacement. I don't think it is built sturdily enough for repeated connection and disconnection, which is a bind if you are security-minded. I dismantle the unit and the TomTom XL it's attached to each time I leave the car and I find the set up of the aerial is just too fiddly, which is why I haven't used it much except for major long distance journeys.
