This cable is perfect, for what I was looking for. A cheap, yet reliable branded name, that simply connected my PC to the printer. Have had no problems at all. Picked this up for such a bargain, I have NO complaints whatsoever; I would highly recommend this!

Canon inks are great and this Canon PGI-5BK is no exception. I'm very very pleased with the results and can foresee myself sticking with Canon printers and their inks. I have regrettably tried a set of compatible inks in the past which produced disgraceful print quality, where the colours ran and mixed with each other on paper. They also made a mess of my printer around the area where the cartridges sit in place. I had gone too far with penny pinching, and quickly went back to the Cannon original inks. It took many and I mean many executions of my printer's self maintenance cleaning software to get it back to its 'as manufacturer intended' state, even after I had changed the ink back to Canon originals. Not a lot you can write about a printer cable. Belkin are the masters of covering their packaging with claims of gold contacts and superb transfer speeds, to be honest I haven't the time or the inclination to test these claims. All I can say is, I attached it to my computer, then to the printer and printed a test page, which came off fine and I've been using it ever since. The build quality is nice too, a good cable all round.

After using compatible cartridges in my old Epson C62 printer I am convinced that they contributed to it eventually clogging up. After purchasing my Canon Pixma 4500 I was determined to stick with the correct cartridges and was delighted when I was able to purchase a full set of cartridges from Free Ink Shop for £36.99 incuding P&P. This was cheap compared to nearly £60 for a pair of genuine cartridges for my old Epson. The results from my Canon are excellent.

My brother recently got a Pixma 6600D and asked me to order a set of 6 carts. Having an account with Amazon I thought these were a good price but ouch - the postage ended up MORE than the price of the cartridges. OK, I should have checked before clicking confirm but when postage on a small package tends to be a few pounds I expected something below a fiver. Having had a heart attack I would feel guilty passing on the postage cost in full so I shall now end up out of pocket thanks to the unclear cost.

Ordered this item, waited 2 weeks for delivery then they cancelled my order because they say they are out of stock. Looked up this item again and there web page says in stock the only differance is the price is £2 higher. Not up to Amazon standard and supprised they use them.

When there are lots of sellers, the one that you see is the lowest priced, not including postage. Given that this seller charges double the p&p if you order two units, it's clearly just a way to inflate the price and still make sales by looking like the cheapest. Wouldn't blame the seller, it's just a problem with Amazon's system being legitimately (within the rules set by Amazon) exploited. You just have to look harder for the actual cheapest seller
