We owned an original Nintendo DS for two years - we bought it right when it released in December 2004. When I first saw the DS Lite at E3 in 2006, I was thrilled. The game great handheld unit design - but lighter! Brighter! Tuned! It really showed that Nintendo had been paying attention to customer feedback during those two years, and had tweaked its unit to be even better than before. First, the weight. We always loved the design of the DS, with its folding top. As PSP owners, I can't tell you how many time that poor PSP screen gets dinged or scratched. This was the first game me and my sister bought (we went halfers on it) and i have to say we were excited abut it. First, let me say, in my opinion, is good about it... 1) The variety of puzzles: I liked how many different puzzles were in here, especially the maths puzzles (i ot down to 15 seconds for 30 and 45 for 100) and did see a big improvement on my maths. The clock challenge makes you think, but my personal favourite is sudoku. Before, i couldn't get into it, now i love it and i look forward playing to it. 2) The tests: the tests you take beofre you start and during your progress, although you have to enter it manually, and think that it would have been better if test were done in timed intervals. I bought this prior to a family holiday to France. Not having any previous experience of Brain Training, I decided to go for this version rather than the original after reading other reviews, and what a joy it was. I kept the game hidden until we boarded the ferry. When I got it out, I was expecting cries of 'oh no! Not brain training - why did you get that mum??' BUT instead all were delighted, and the whole family, young and old, played it every single day of our trip, and indeed fighted over who's turn it was. I highly recommend this game if you are planning a long journey, or just want to provide your family with some educational entainment that everyone can enjoy that doesnt involve the telly.

I just got this game today and am hooked already. As an older Nintendo fan (40 something), I don't play all the shoot 'em up or beat the clock type games. I like games that I can play at my leisure and think about. This is definitely the one to have. Got it hooked up to my wireless internet easily and was playing backgammon with someone in no time. It's not one of those games where once you play to the end, you're done. Lots of variety and I'm sure it will keep me entertained for hours, days, even months to come.

If you've got a DS this is great, it has every accessory you could ever need for your pink DS. And it's really great value for everything you get. The carry case is nice and robust plus has plenty of room for extra games and the emergency charger is a really nifty idea, great for travelling for those just in case moments. Overall this is a really well thought out package and I'm delighted I bought one.

What a terrible game. A collection of boring mini games, it follows a similar format to brain training but is not nearly as good.

The pink Nintendo DS.. I got a Nintendo DS in december 07,by April 2008 i had sold it on. I really, really wanted one and when i got it was completly addicted to it,perfect for when your partners watching the football! The Games appealed to me and i loved that i could take it anywhere and loved how it looked..but then i started to get bored because the games were too short and easy and i ended up not playing on it because i had completed all the games. I think i found i was too old for it at 20 and it was better for younger children as the games were too easy and childish. I would recommend it for children 100% as its great fun and educational. WELL THE CHARGER IS VERY QUICK AND TELLS U HOW LOW URS BATTERYS IS. WHICH IS GD ITS EASY TO SET UP AND QUICKLY CHARGES IT. THE CARCHARGER DOES WORK IN UR CAR BUT FOR ME IT POINLESS COS IM THE DRIVER AND I CAN'T DRIVE AND PLAY ON MY DS. BUT IT USEFULL IF U GO TRIVLING FOR LONG TIME. i was impressed with the amount of accesorries you get with this pack which includes:- Protective Case 9/10 3 x Stylus Earphones 7/10 AC Adapter / Charger Remote Battery Back Up 9/10 Car Charger 1 x GBA Game Case - cheap and tacky 4 x DS Game Case - again cheap and tacky screen Protector - 0/10 dont ever use this on ur ds people plz, but the static screen protectors they are a lot better. I was really enjoying playing this game and looking forward to getting past the many weak computer opponents to get to take on the 'big boys' at world championship level. However, when I got there (losing only two games to one opponent on the way) I found that all of the games at world championship level are timed. This would not be such a bad idea for a different challenge if the clock was set at a reasonable amount of time. However against the WEAKEST opponent at world championship level you have only 5 minutes on the clock to get through an entire game! The computer opponent usually moves almost straight away and can lay all its tiles on the board in one go.
